In Morgenlys, Sigurd Bergmann captures the hushed awe of morning light spilling into a narrow coastal inlet. The composition is minimal and poetic: two headlands rise like guardians on either side of a calm sea, their rocky forms bathed in warm ochre and sienna. Between them lies an expanse of soft, translucent water, touched by the gentlest tones of turquoise, green, and sky blue.
